Chapter 7 First Practice Solution — Important Note

The first hands-on practice in Chapter 7 involves deploying and running a Java application outside of JDeveloper. In order to run this practice outside of JDeveloper, do the following:

1. Unzip the file Ch07_unzip_to_C.zip directly into the root directory of your C: drive. This will install the file C:\Loc\locdept.cmd.
2. Deploy the application from JDeveloper using the steps outlined in the book.
3. Run C:\Loc\locdept.cmd.
